Welcome to the Ochiltree Earthquake Retreat 

Are you feeling desperate to get out of Christchurch for a break from aftershocks and  your earthquake issues? 

Would you like to rest and walk in a stunning natural environment with hills, river and ocean only minutes away?

Would you like the help of a trauma counsellor to teach you strategies to cope with ongoing aftershocks, relaxation techniques to calm and heal your nerves, and help to sort out ongoing earthquake issues?

 My name is Lynda Kitchingham. In the weeks following the September and all other major Christchurch earthquake events I provided trauma counselling  in various Christchurch workplaces for EAP Services.

I am very familiar with the issues surrounding the earthquakes as well as experiencing numerous aftershocks and personally feeling the effects.

 My husband, Dylan and I are offering our cosy home to you free of charge while you are here for fully funded earthquake counselling. (see photo gallery).

Please ring me to discuss whether you meet the criteria for the counselling. I can provide up to six sessions during your stay.
